The stateside diary of an English lady (?) This blog is not intended to impress rather as a way of keeping in touch with my buds at home in London, who always tell me they read my blog, but clearly don't, and of course for my family.

I am working at Six Apart, the makers of Vox and TypePad, as product marketing manager, thinking up ways that we can get people to realize how wonderful blogging is.

I have been in San Francisco since April 2008 and truly believe it is one of the greatest places on earth. It is now both my home and my hobby.

My current blogging ambition is to get more than 3 comments to one post  - not that easy when not a single home buddy has left a comment. My mother appears from time to time - but only because I insisted.

My biggest tech gripe is my dlink dir655 router which tricked me into buying it and doesn't work.Grrrr.
